Garrick Higgo made the weekend with a second-round total of three-under-par 68 on Friday in the PGA Tour’s AT&T Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas taking him to five-under-par for the tournament.

His eagle, three birdies and two bogeys took him into a share of 48th, nine strokes behind the leader, Scottie Scheffler. At 14-under, Scheffler led by one from Ryan Palmer and Canada’s Mackenzie Hughes.

Higgo’s eagle came on the par-five ninth, when he hit his approach shot from 200 yards out to just outside three feet and made the putt.

He shared 48th with, amongst others, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, who had a two-under-par 69 in the second round.

Dylan Frittelli, Erik van Rooyen and MJ Daffue all missed the cut.
