Ashleigh Buhai slipped one position to 75^th in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings after her share of 45^th on the weekend in the Meijer LPGA Classic in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

She had a solid week, with her only round above 70 coming in the closing round as she carded a one-under-par 71 to go with her 69-68-69. Her tournament total of 11-under-par was 14 strokes off Nelly Korda’s 25-under-par, as the American stretched out for her second win of the season. Korda closed with a five-under 67 to defeat rookie Leona Maguire of Ireland by two shots.

Buhai made two birdies and no drops on her opening nine, but a bogey-six on the 10^th, followed by another dropped shot on the par-three 11^th started her journey home off poorly. She picked up a birdie on the 14^th, and went bogey-par on 17 and 18 to slip from 28^th at the start of the round to her finishing share of 45^th.

Buhai is the top-ranked South African on the rankings, with Lee-Anne Pace the next best at 208^th after she climbed five places in the latest list. Paula Reto, who just missed the cut in the Meijer LPGA Classic, is third at 435^th, unchanged from last week.
