Hennie du Plessis goes into the final round of the DP World Tour’s ISPS Handa Championship in Spain in a share of the lead on 10-under-par after he carded a four-under 66 in the weather-delayed third round which was concluded early on Sunday.

But for a dropped shot on the par-three 17th, it would have been a bogey-free effort, but he made up for that with a closing bogey on the 18th to join Aaron Cockerill of Wales and Adrian Otaegui of Spain in the lead. The trio was one shot clear of Antoine Rozner of France, with England’s Andrew Wilson in fifth.

Darren Fichardt had a third round of one-under 69 to get to five-under for the tournament in a share of 16th. Oliver Bekker was on four-under after a round of three-under 67 in a share of 24th. Justin Walters and Louis de Jager were on three-under in 32nd, with Daniel van Tonder and Thriston Lawrence in 56th on one-under.
