Casey Jarvis rounded out a good week with a four-under-par 68 on Sunday in the DP World Tour’s Genesis Championship in Incheon, South Kore, which gave him a share of sixth place.
He started slowly, making pars all the way to the seventh hole before he dropped two shots in a row on the eighth and the ninth. But he was superb on his way in, making six birdies to race through the back nine in six-under-par 30 to finish the tournament on 12-under-par.
That put him five strokes out of the all-Korean play-off between Byeong Hun An and Tom Kim after the pair finished on 17-under-par in regulation. An made birdie on the first extra hole as Kim, who had missed a birdie putt on the 18th in regulation play, made a bogey. The pair was one stroke clear of Ricardo Gouveia of Portugal, with Antoine Rozner of France fourth and Guido Migliozzi of Italy fifth.
One stroke behind Jarvis and two others, in a share of ninth, was Brandon Stone, who closed with a two-under-par 70.
Louis de Jager had his second one-over 73 of the weekend as he slipped to three-under and a share of 44th.
