Michael Kok carded a five-under-par 67 on Friday to win the Bushveld Tour’s one-day event at Kyalami Country Club by two strokes.

He won by two shots from amateur Ryan van der Klis. Another amateur, Christian MacGregor, shared third with Sunshine Tour professionals Coert Groenewald, Merrick Bremner and Wynand Dingle.

It was Kok’s second win in his last three starts in the Bushveld Tour’s fourth event in the Bushveld Series this year.

While Van der Klis finished with a flourish over the last two holes, Kok had done enough to hold on to his lead, after turning in 34. He came home in 33, while Van der Klis closed with 31 on the homeward nine.
