Ashleigh Buhai made two birdies and a bogey on Friday as she got the Cambia Portland Classic off to a solid start. She was five strokes off the lead.

She started with three consecutive pars before making birdie on four. Then it was pars all the way until the 12th, before she dropped a shot on the par-four 15th.

The tournament is being led by Australia’s Hannah Green and AMerican Cydney Clanton.
