Kaleigh Telfer made the cut on Monday after the fourth round of the 2023 LPGA Q-Series in Mobile, Alabama when she carded a three-under-par 69 to move to three-under-par for the six-round marathon.
However, she finds herself in a share of 65th place, and with two rounds to go, she has some work to do if she is to climb to 45th or better if she is to be one of the players who wins her playing privileges on the LPGA Tour for 2024.
With the event being staged across the Crossing Course and the Falls Course at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove, Telfer finds herself a long way off the lead which is held at 21-under-par by Robin Choi of Australia.
However, after her opening round of four-over-par 75 at Falls Course, she got things back on track with a four-under 68 on the Crossing Course. A one-under 71 on the same course followed in the third round, and then she carded her fourth-round 69.
She is three strokes outside the current cut-off for tour cards, and has two rounds of pressurised golf to try and rectify her situation.
